The journey of Rev. V. Diwakara, Spiritual Son of Bishop Dr. M. Edward Rajan has touched and inspired many lives since 1999 which is currently a living testimony enlightening the word of God to all across the globe. Recognized as a strong spiritual leader his unshakable faith and the anointing of God has lifted his ministry to newer heights.
Rev. V. Diwakara was born in September 1979 in Morawewa a rural town in Trincomalee and was then moved to Kanthale in 1985. Agrabothi National School in Kanthale was his Alma Matar where he pursued his primary and higher education. He took a bold decision to come out of a strong ancestral belief and entered into Bible College in 1997. His thirst for God never quenched, he followed his Two year theology course in Life Bible Institute located in Nugegoda and was graduated in 1999.
No sooner Rev. Diwakara started his first appointed ministry in August 1999 through Foursquare Gospel Church in Gampola. He was then ordained and anointed as a faithful servant to God in 2012 by Rev. Dr. Leslie W. Keegel, and completed 16 years of service in Foursquare Gospel Church (serving Gampola and Kanthale). Further, he was highly appreciated for his long-term faithful service in the ministry at Foursquare Gospel Church.
In 2008 March, Rev. Diwakara married Jensy Jesurasa and became a loving father of Joel Himash (Son), Thimri Aksha (Daughter) and Dion Hoshea (Son). His unwavering spiritual journey continued at Kanthale church from 2008 until 2016. Nevertheless, he initiated and successfully managed a vocational training center for the unemployed, under privileged youth of the area irrespective of race, religion or cast. Since 2012 he has successfully trained over 65 young women. In 2009 to 2014 he formed and conducted Gospel Children’s Club in Kanthale consisting of 50 children aged between 3yrs to 16yrs. In 2011 he paved the way for 10 widows to start their small business self-employment under the name of “Dorcas House” specialized in snacks production and packaging.
In 2016 by the guidance and calling of God he left the Foursquare ministry, during the period 2016 - 2018 he formed a team "Gospel Mission Center" and worked tirelessly to spread the word of God across the nation. In 2018 by the guidance of his spiritual father Bishop Dr. M. Edward Rajan, “King of Kings Ministries in Sri Lanka” was birthed. Which started with handful of believers has now expanded to all districts island wide and across the world. Today, this ministry stands firm transforming many lives spiritually in multiple countries; such as Sri Lanka, France, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Romania, Oman, Italy, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
King of Kings Ministries in Sri Lanka is a Fivefold ministry and Rev. Diwakara demonstrates strong leadership traits of an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and a Teacher to build the Kingdom of God. His ultimate passion and thirst to do the will of God encouraged him to open new avenues, he started his media ministry in 2020 followed by launching the online church via zoom in 2021, he also opened his King's TV Silver Studio in 2022 which is aired online on Wednesday's to conduct healing services, on an average 4000 sick were healed since 2016 to date. In 2023 he started his King's Bible Institute and in 2024 he inaugurated King's TV Golden Studio which aided him to deliver undiluted word of God. Further, the graduation ceremony of the first batch of students of King's Bible Institute was also conducted in August 2024. In addition, there are 10 ministry workers under his immaculate guidance. All broadcasts are available on social media platforms in Facebook and YouTube.
He has completed 25 years of service and continuing to faithfully serve God with his powerful unfiltered message, prophetic encouragements and deliverance. The silver jubilee of Pastoral Service of Rev. V. Diwakara was celebrated in August 2024 in Sri Lanka by his spiritual father Bishop Dr. M. Edward Rajan – Founder of King of Kings Churches in India.
In October 2024, Rev. Diwakara received a vision from God to start 153 businesses, which is according to the bible verse John 21:11. The message was cascaded to his church family to start their own business. By the grace of God and untiring guidance of Rev. Diwakara, many believers started their own businesses which were named after the ministry “Kings” and are currently successful. Testimonies are proof to validate that God is the strong pillar of this powerful ministry delivering lives and birthing entrepreneurs.
King of King's is merely not a Ministry, it’s a ministry of power and breakthrough led by the Holy Spirit and steered by Rev. V. Diwakara.
